Golf Cart Rental Agreement
This Golf Cart Rental Agreement is between Affordable Rentals Tampa Bay, LLC (“ARTB,” “we,” “us”) and the renter named below (“you”). It applies in addition to our standard Rental Agreement. By signing, you certify the information you provided is accurate and you agree to the terms below for operating the golf cart shown on this agreement.
1. Driver's License & Insurance
You certify that you hold a valid driver's license and that you have uploaded a legible copy of that license and current proof of insurance. Only a licensed driver named on this agreement may operate the cart. We may refuse or cancel the rental if the documents are missing, expired, or don't match the renter.
2. Lawful Operation
You agree to operate the golf cart only where it is legal to do so and in accordance with all applicable Florida and local laws — including rules on where golf carts may be driven, hours of operation, lighting/equipment requirements, and the minimum age to operate. You are responsible for knowing and following these rules.
3. Safe Use
You will operate the cart safely and soberly. No operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Do not exceed the cart's rated passenger capacity, and keep all occupants seated with hands and feet inside while moving. No reckless driving, towing, or off-road use beyond the cart's design.
4. Responsibility for the Vehicle
You are responsible for the golf cart from delivery/pickup until it is returned to us. You are responsible for any traffic citations, tolls, or fines incurred during the rental. Return the cart in the same condition and charge/fuel level as delivered.
5. Damage, Loss & Theft
You are responsible for damage, loss, or theft of the cart, its battery/charger, keys, and accessories during the rental period, up to the replacement cost. Report any accident, damage, or theft to us and, where applicable, to law enforcement immediately. The damage deposit on file may be charged toward such costs; you remain responsible for amounts exceeding it.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risks of operating the cart and agree that ARTB is not liable for injury, death, or property damage arising from your use of the cart, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. You agree to indemnify ARTB against claims arising from your use.
7. Assumption of Risk
You understand that operating a golf cart involves inherent risks. You voluntarily assume those risks for yourself and your passengers and confirm that everyone operating or riding in the cart does so at their own risk.
This agreement applies in addition to our standard rental agreement and is signed at checkout when a golf cart is part of your order.
