Cancellation & Refund Policy

Plans change — here's exactly how cancellations, reschedules, and refunds work. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every booking.

1. How to Cancel

To cancel or change a booking, call us at 813-360-0020 or email info@affordablerentalstb.com as early as you can. Your refund depends on how far ahead of your event date you cancel.

2. Refund Schedule

Cancel 7 or more days before your event date: full refund of the rental charges. Cancel less than 7 days but more than 24 hours before: 50% refund of the rental charges. Cancel within 24 hours of your event date: no refund, as the equipment and delivery slot are already committed.

3. Reservation Fee

If your booking included a reservation fee to hold a date in advance, that fee is non-refundable but is applied toward your rental balance.

4. Security Deposit

Your security deposit is separate from this policy. We don't hold any funds up front — we keep your card on file and only charge it for damage, loss, or items not returned, after pickup and inspection.

5. Weather

We don't cancel for forecasts alone. If conditions are genuinely unsafe for setup (high winds or storms for tents and inflatables), we'll work with you to reschedule or to skip affected items. We are not responsible for weather-related interruptions during your event.

6. Rescheduling

Need a different date instead of a refund? We're happy to move your booking when the new date is available — just contact us as early as possible.

7. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Square. Depending on your bank, it typically takes a few business days to appear.

8. If We Have to Cancel

If we must cancel — for example, conditions are unsafe or we can't safely access the delivery site — we'll issue a full refund of amounts paid for the affected items.
